The City has partnered with the Wood Village Wal-Mart to provide graffiti removal kits to members of the community.  These kits are stocked with items that can remove most types of graffiti from most surfaces.  These kits were field tested by staff, and graffiti was easily removed from signs, mailboxes, railings and utility boxes with no damage to the original surface!  The only surface that these kits do not work well on is wood.  That is because wood is porous, and the only effective removal of graffiti on wood is to pressure wash it, or paint over it.  If you are a victim of graffiti vandalism, or would like to help clean up graffiti in the City, please consider checking out one of the graffiti removal kits.  The kits can be checked out for up to a week, and all you need to do is stop by City Hall, fill out a brief form, and you will be on your way.
